Born and raised in Northern California, Dave fell in love with coconuts on a post-college trip to Costa Rica. He moved to Maui in spring 2006, and with the help of his partner Jennifer Lynn, started Pure Life Palm Trimmers, LLC. He developed his business model based on yoga philosophy emphasizing responsibility, impeccability, integrity, community service and joy. In addition to offering excellent service, it is Dave's vision that the palm trimming experience be enjoyable for the client. On the job site he always has a kind word and fresh coconut to share. Dave is a lover of rock climbing, a practicing yogi and a musician. |

Originally from Mexico, Mauricio has been a Maui resident for over 11 years. As a permaculture practitioner, he has great respect for the Tree of Life. As a parent, he understands the balance of discipline and encouragement when managing the team members. He believes the team is like a healthy family working together to improve the level of service, safety and communication in the work environment. As manager of Pure Life Palm Trimmers Mauricio is committed to ensuring the clients always have a positive experience. Jayanti Nand grew up on Maui living many years on Maui's remote east shore. Living off the land and close to nature, Jayanti found his passion for trees at age 15. He has been actively involved in native tree restoration on Maui for over 10 years. He is a certified arborist with 16 years experience working with forest, fruit, and decorative trees here on Maui. As a gifted arborist and lover of trees, Jayanti is an asset to the Pure Life Palm Trimmers team and the community. In his free time he enjoys surfing, spearfishing, hiking, biking and yoga. |

Born and raised on Maui, this man is pure Aloha; strong, kind-hearted, and always willing to help. Tyler is so humble, his talents might go unoticed, but on the job site we see his constant strength, courage and focus. So busy is he appreciating the day's blessings, Tyler might not realize how grateful we are to have him on the team. He's also an accomplished jazz and rock guitarist. He's currently composing the PLPT rock anthem. |

Originally from Miissouri, Dan relocated to Maui in 2010. A devoted christian and husband, Dan takes his devotion into the work place. He is committed to working hard and ensuring PLPT leaves each property more beautiful than we found it. Dan is a masterful dump truck driver and can manuver the rig carefully and precisely on delicate properties. Dan is a lead ground crew member and an aspiring climber for PLPT.
